Refund Policy
Our policy on refunds for platform subscriptions and charter bookings.
1. Platform Subscription Fees
Monthly subscription fees paid to Best Cabo Payments are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time and will retain access through the end of your current billing period.
We do not offer prorated refunds for unused days within a billing period.
Exception: If you experience a platform outage or technical failure that prevents you from processing payments for more than 24 consecutive hours, you may be eligible for a prorated credit. Contact us at support@bestcabopayments.com within 7 days of the incident.
2. Charter Booking Refunds (Customer Payments)
Refund policies for individual charter bookings are set by each operator and may vary. Operators are responsible for clearly communicating their cancellation and refund policies to customers at the time of booking.
Best Cabo Payments facilitates refunds on behalf of operators through Stripe. To request a refund for a charter booking:
- Contact the operator directly using the contact information provided in your booking confirmation
- If the operator approves a refund, it will be processed within 5–10 business days back to your original payment method
- Stripe processing fees (2.9% + $0.30) are non-recoverable and will not be included in refunds
- The 0.75% platform fee is also non-recoverable
3. Deposit Refunds
Whether deposits are refundable depends on each operator's stated cancellation policy. Operators must disclose their deposit refund policy before a customer completes payment. Best Cabo Payments is not responsible for operator-level cancellation policy disputes.
4. Fraudulent Transactions
If you believe you have been charged fraudulently through the Best Cabo Payments platform, contact us immediately at fraud@bestcabopayments.com. You may also dispute the charge directly with your bank or card issuer.
5. Processing Refunds
Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days. The time for the refund to appear on your statement depends on your card issuer and may take an additional 3–5 business days.
