• Payment information: We do not store full card numbers. Payment data is processed and stored by Stripe, Inc. We receive only tokenized payment references and last-four-digit card information.
• Booking data: Customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, and booking details created through your operator account.
• Usage data: Log data including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken within the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Best Cabo Payments platform
• Process bookings and payments on behalf of operators
• Send transactional emails including booking confirmations and payment receipts
• Communicate platform updates, security notices, and support messages
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
• Prevent fraud and protect the security of our platform

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Stripe: Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Your payment data is subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase: Our database infrastructure is provided by Supabase, Inc. Data is stored in secure, encrypted databases.
• Service providers: We may share data with vendors who assist in operating our platform, subject to confidentiality agreements.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

4. Operator Data Ownership

Customer records created through your operator account — including names, email addresses, and booking history — belong to you. We act as a data processor on your behalf. You may export or delete your customer data at any time by contacting us.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and transaction data for a minimum of 7 years to comply with financial recordkeeping requirements. You may request deletion of non-financial personal data at any time.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted databases at rest, and Row Level Security (RLS) policies that ensure operators can only access their own data. Payment processing is fully delegated to Stripe's PCI DSS Level 1 certified infrastructure.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain authentication sessions. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this will prevent you from staying logged in to the portal.
